We rarely see the little animals. We see farm animals and tame animals in fields, but wild animals are more withdrawn. We see traces. There's a little hole in the footpath, by the steps. Is there a mouse living here? Some animal was digging in our lawn in the night time. Bigger than a mouse; was it a badger? Was it looking for earthworms or slugs?

Sometimes an animal has two names, e.g. "fox" and "the one with a tail". Sometimes there is one name for two animals.
